The Resource Library
Every buyer's guide, coverage explainer, and equipment-care walkthrough we've published, gathered in one place. No gated downloads, no sign-up wall — just the references we'd hand a friend who asked what to buy.
Resources
Start here when you don't know where to start
Most people land on a medical-supply site already mid-decision — a doctor mentioned an oxygen concentrator, a parent's mobility is slipping, a clinic room needs outfitting by Friday. The hard part isn't finding products. It's knowing which questions actually matter before you spend.
This library is organized the way real decisions unfold: pick the equipment area you're working through, then drill into the specific trade-off you're stuck on. Each guide names the catch, the realistic cost range, and the cases where the cheaper option is genuinely the right call. We don't sell the equipment here, so there's nothing to push.

On-site guides and printable references
Most of what we publish lives on the site as deep buyer's guides you can read straight through. A handful — the dressing-by-wound-type chart, the clinic starter checklist, the Medicare coverage flowchart — also exist as one-page references you can print and keep next to the equipment or bring to an appointment.
Both come from the same place: a working specialist's notes, fact-checked against current manufacturer specs and coverage rules. When a guide is updated, the date at the top changes so you can see how fresh it is.
How to use this library
Three steps to get from "I'm overwhelmed" to a short, confident shortlist.
Find your equipment area
Pick the hub above that matches what you're shopping for. Each hub page frames the category and links to the specific decision guides underneath it.
Read the trade-off that's stopping you
Portable vs. stationary? Buy vs. rent? Cheaper model vs. the one the rep pushed? Open the guide that names your exact question and read the section on the catch.
Check coverage before you commit
Cross-reference the Coverage & Care explainers for Medicare, insurance, and HSA/FSA rules so you know what you'll actually pay out of pocket.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to sign up or download anything to read these?
No. Every guide is readable on the site for free, and the printable references are open PDFs with no email wall. We'd rather you find the answer than collect your address.
Are these guides trying to sell me a specific brand?
No. The Resource Library is informational only. We explain how to choose, name the trade-offs, and tell you when a cheaper option is the right one — we don't steer you toward a particular product or vendor here.
How current is this information?
Each guide shows the date it was last reviewed. Coverage rules and manufacturer specs change, so we re-check the high-traffic guides on a regular cycle and update the date when anything material shifts. Our review process is laid out in our Editorial Standards.
I can't find a guide for my exact situation. What now?
The category hubs are still being built out, so some spokes aren't live yet. If you tell us what decision you're stuck on, we'll point you to the closest existing reference and flag it as a candidate for the next guide we write.
Stuck on a decision we haven't covered?
Tell us the equipment question you're working through. We'll point you to the most relevant reference — and your question helps us decide what to write next.
