About Solution Medical Supply

The buyer's reference desk for medical equipment and consumables

An independent, vendor-neutral resource built to help healthcare operators and caregivers make sound equipment decisions — with original buying guides, spec comparisons, and procurement know-how, not a sales pitch.

Equipment decisions are hard. Most of the internet is trying to sell you something.
Why we exist

Equipment decisions are hard. Most of the internet is trying to sell you something.

Outfitting a clinic, equipping a home for aging-in-place, or restocking a wound-care cart means choosing between dozens of models, dressing classes, and par levels — usually with a vendor's brochure as your only reference. Solution Medical Supply was built to be the missing layer: a plain-spoken, comparison-driven reference desk that explains the practical choice in front of you before anyone asks for a purchase order.

We read the spec sheets, track the lead times, and write the guide we wish existed when we specced this equipment ourselves. Every page leads with the decision the reader actually faces — which concentrator flow rate, which dressing for which wound bed, which exam-table weight capacity — and backs it with a concrete spec or sourcing consideration. On patient-facing topics, comfort and dignity come first.

What we publish — and what we don't

We publish original educational content. Independent buying guides, model and material comparisons, and procurement explainers across durable medical equipment and clinical consumables. Every guide is written for this reference desk and specific to a real decision.

We do not sell products. There is no storefront here, no cart, and no checkout. You will not be funneled toward a distributor at the end of a guide.

We do not endorse specific vendors. Where a guide discusses sourcing, it does so in neutral terms — what to look for in a supplier, how to vet a GPO, how to read a lead time — never "buy from this company." We name no providers, quote no prices we cannot stand behind, and fabricate no reviews, credentials, or testimonials.

That independence is the whole point. A reference desk only works if it has nothing to sell you.

Who we serve

Written for the people who have to make the call

Our readers are clinic and urgent-care operators outfitting a new facility, procurement and practice managers comparing par levels, home-health coordinators planning a discharge, and caregivers and patients researching equipment for aging-in-place or chronic-disease management. The common thread: someone has to choose, and the consequences are real.

So we write for the decision, not the click. A guide should leave you knowing which model fits your weight capacity, which dressing matches your wound bed, or which questions to ask a supplier before you sign — and confident enough to act on it.

Mission: sound equipment decisions

Have a tougher question than a guide can answer?

We expand the reference desk based on the real decisions our readers are stuck on. Tell us what you're trying to spec, source, or compare — and we'll point you to the right guide or write the one that's missing.
